
A HuffPo contributor recently paid a visit to Toluca Lake's gourmet food shop Olive & Thyme and gave the verdict that it serves up one of the best sandwiches in town.
"In fact, one of the best sandwiches in all of L.A. can be found right here. It's the Braised Short Rib -- one of the best sandwiches in any part of town," wrote Scott Bridges. "The beef is slow cooked for eight hours and served with a horseradish crème fraiche and caramelized onion on country sourdough."
Olive & Thyme popped up three years ago and is run by husband and wife duo, Melina and Christian Davies, who offer other sandwiches as well as cheese, charcuterie, condiments, desserts, craft beer and wines.
