Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Train
A body is discovered on Union Pacific Tracks at 9:02 a.m.

An adult female pedestrian was struck and killed by a train near Lankershim Boulevard and Sherman Way, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Her body was found on Union Pacific tracks at 9:02 a.m. on Friday, said LAFD spokesperson Katherine Main.
The last train to have ridden those tracks passed by around 3:30 a.m., she said.
