Police Search For Suspects In North Hollywood Shooting Mystery

Shots were fired at a home in North Hollywood, and three suspects fled the scene, but police did not find a victim.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Authorities are searching for three male suspects who fled on foot after officers responded to shots fired inside a home in North Hollywood Friday.

Police responded to a call at 10:52 a.m. near Victory Boulevard and Fair Avenue in North Hollywood of shots heard inside a home, LAPD Officer D. Orris said.

The suspects tried to get away in a white vehicle and hit a Prius on Victory Boulevard and Vineland Avenue, then left the disabled car in an alley behind a nearby Target before fleeing on foot, he said.

No injuries were reported from inside the home where the shots were fired.

ABC7 reported from the scene that officers searched the trunk of the disabled car thinking a victim was trapped inside but found no one.

One suspect was seen wearing a white shirt and gray shorts, another was wearing a black hat and shorts and a silver shirt, and the third suspect wore a black long sleeved shirt with black pants, Orris said.
