NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — The Los Angeles Police Department is still searching for the driver who caused a hit-and-run in July that left a man severely injured, and asked for the public's help to identify a suspect.

The crash happened on July 3 around 7:15 a.m., when a man was walking in a crosswalk at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Magnolia Boulevard. Police say a dark Tesla Model 3 was turning left from Magnolia Boulevard onto Laurel Canyon Boulevard, when the driver struck the man and continued to drive rather than stopping to help.

The victim was seriously injured in the crash, LAPD said.
