A robber died in Universal City Saturday night when he crashed his alleged getaway car into a light pole, according to CBS2.
He allegedly stole purses from two women before driving off in a white pickup truck, authorities said.
The robber then crashed his vehicle at the intersection of Lankershim and Ventura boulevards around 9 p.m., CBS2 reports.
