Scanner Report: Suicide Jumper on 170 Freeway Overpass Turns Out to Be a Photo Shoot
Multiple police cars converge on the location around 3:30 p.m. after a driver calls 911.

3:26 p.m. 170 Freeway Overpass at Roscoe Boulevard, North Hollywood
A Los Angeles Police Department dispatcher radios to units in the field that a passing motorist reported a possible suicide jumper on the 170 Freeway overpass at Roscoe Boulevard. The possible jumper, a white female wearing a dark top and black shorts, was seen climbing the chain link fence near the northbound offramp, according to the PR (person reporting.)
3:27 p.m. Multiple units from the Valley Traffic Division and Foothill Division converge on the area. An officer arriving via the 170 reports that he does not see a jumper and ask the dispatcher if the PR is still on the scene. The dispatcher responds that the PR is no longer at the scene and had been driving by on the freeway.

3:28 p.m. Another unit asks the dispatcher for a description of the jumper. When given the description, the officer reports that the female is not on the overpass, but walking west on Roscoe Boulevard toward Coldwater Canyon Avenue.
3:28 p.m. Another unit arrives on the scene and reports not finding a jumper on the overpass.

3:30 p.m. An officer reports that there is a large camera crew at the location near the overpass, and the reported female jumper is just part of the photo shoot.
