Singer Teairra Mari Says She's The Victim of Revenge Porn

TV personality and singer Teairra Mari claims her ex boyfriend posted sexually explicit images that 50 Cent shared with millions of people.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Singer and television personality Teairra Mari went public Thursday with accusations that her ex-boyfriend posted sexually explicit images of her online after she ended their relationship, and that rapper/actor 50 Cent reposted one of them to his 18 million Instagram followers.

"I was compromised by someone who I thought loved me as much as I loved him," Mari said during a news conference with her attorney, Lisa Bloom. "I'm conflicted, I'm hurt, confused and heartbroken."

According to Bloom, Mari's ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad knew Mari's Instagram password and used it to post a "sexual explicit images" of her on the account. Mari, after realizing what had happened, removed the video and photo from the site. But 50 Cent, a friend of Abdul-Ahad, reposted the photo on his site, Bloom said.

The images have since been removed, she said.

Mari, who appeared on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood," claims she broke up with Abdul-Ahad because she found out he was cheating on her.

He denies posting the images, "but I know in my heart he did," Mari said.

Abdul-Ahad last week released a video, posted on TMZ, denying that he was responsible for releasing the images, blaming another of Mari's ex- boyfriends. On his Instagram page Thursday, he posted an image of Bloom's press release announcing Mari's news conference, along with video of a woman, presumably Mari, smashing windows of his SUV with a metal pole.

He told TMZ last week that he caught Mari in the act of vandalizing his vehicle in North Hollywood.

There was no immediate response from 50 Cent, but on his Instagram page, he posted a photo of himself with Bloom's mother -- famed civil-rights attorney Gloria Allred. He captioned the photo, "Oh Lisa stop, don't make me tell your mom."
