in an open field behind a North Hollywood apartment complex was identified Sunday by the coroner's office, according to the City News Service. The body of Bryan Carmona was found in the 7200 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, near Sherman Way, about 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, the Los Angeles Police Department said. Officers discovered Carmona was shot multiple times and was found dead at the scene, police said. The motive for the murder was unknown. There was no information on the suspect or the weapon used, police said. Anyone with information on this homicide was asked to call Detectives Jose Martinez or Heather Gahry at (818) 834-3115 or (877) LAPD-24-7. All tips can be made anonymously. –City News Service
