A 30-year-old man was shot to death at , a North Hollywood strip club, and a man and his girlfriend were behind bars today in the killing, police said, according to the City New Service. Thomas Valdez of Santa Clarita was fatally shot inside VIP Showgirls at 12147 Victory Blvd. about 10 p.m. Friday, Los Angeles police Officer Karen Rayner said. Detectives believe Valdez got into a dispute with Romonta Forte, 20, of North Hollywood, and Forte shot him, she said. Forte and his girlfriend, who works at the club, ran off, but police found them in a nearby park, Rayner said. Both were arrested, with Forte being booked on suspicion of murder and Anna Baez, 22, being booked on suspicion of accessory to murder. His bail was set at $1 million, and hers was $500,000, Rayner said. – City News Service
