Two North Hollywood Men Killed in Fiery Crash: Coroner

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS) — Two men who died when the vehicle they were in crashed into a palm tree and caught fire in North Hollywood were identified Wednesday.

The crash was reported about 1:30 a.m. Monday at Vineland Avenue and Burbank Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Michael Pineda-Guillen, 24, and Raymond Sada, 23, both of North Hollywood, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported. Pineda-Guillen was believed to have been the driver, according to the coroner's office.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the vehicle was being driven northbound on Vineland Avenue when it crossed into southbound lanes and crashed into the palm tree.

The vehicle was on fire when firefighters arrived, and the men werediscovered inside the blaze was doused.
