Where To Find Cooling Stations In North Hollywood This Weekend

The center will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Friday through Monday.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Buena Vista Library will serve as a cooling center during what is expected to be a scorching weekend. The center is located at 300 N. Buena Vista St., and will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Friday through Monday.

Capacity will be limited in order to maintain social distancing. The Department of Recreation and Parks urges area residents to call ahead of time to ensure there is space. You can call Buena Vista Library at 818-238-5620.

The City of Los Angeles will open community cooling centers throughout the region to keep residents from heat-related illnesses. Anyone interested in using the cooling center can get more information by calling 311.
