Witness the Death of a Building

Demolition of the Commonwealth Building by hand began a few weeks and as of Thursday, what ever is left of the 1960s-era structure looks like something out of a post-apocalyptic movie.

Development firm Chandler Pratt eventually plans on building a 5-story mixed-use complex at the property site.

A Citibank branch was the last remaining tenant at the Commonwealth Building until it closed for good in December.
