2 Arrested After Pursuit Of Stolen Vehicle Leads To Sepulveda Basin
Two suspects were arrested after leading police on a pursuit in a vehicle that was reported stolen.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Two suspects were arrested Thursday after leading Los Angeles Police Department and California Highway Patrol officers on a pursuit in a vehicle reported stolen that ended in the Sepulveda Dam area, authorities said.
The pursuit began at about 10:55 a.m. Thursday when police officers noticed the sedan at De Soto Avenue and Burbank Boulevard, according to an LAPD spokeswoman.
The CHP took over the pursuit when the car entered the southbound Ventura (101) Freeway at 11:15 a.m., CHP Officer A. De Los Reyes told City News Service.

The car exited at Balboa Boulevard and the suspects bailed out near the Sepulveda Dam, he said.
The two suspects were located at 11:31 a.m. and taken into custody, De Los Reyes said.
