The parents of an 8-year-old girl are suing the school, claiming administrators failed to shut down the sexual abuse and bullying.
The parents of an 8-year-old girl are suing a San Fernando Valley private school, accusing administrators of failing to shut down a "Kissing Club" started by older students who they claim bullied and sexually assaulted their daughter, according to a report.
The Sierra Canyon School student was 7 at the time of the incidents, the lawsuit claims.
The older students' bullying included name-calling, “peeking through the bathroom stall while the child used the bathroom” and pressuring others to commit sexual acts, the suit claims. The lawsuit also claims that several 7- and 8-year-old girls would gather inside the bathrooms to participate in the Kissing Club, the Los Angeles Times reported.
