Maria Argyropoulos: 'Generous' Northridge Hero

NORTHRIDGE, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Relationship to nominee: I have bought face masks from her business

Reason for recognition:Her and her family own a fabric company. With the left over material they have been making face masks under masks for a cause. For every mask sold they will donate the cost to different organizations,first responders. They will make masks for schools.

One thing to know:They have been so generous to different organizations . The nurses have been so appreciative they have tears in their eyes.
