Northridge-Chatsworth Mom Of 8 Makes Each Child Feel Special & Loved

NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

Although she has eight children, she somehow always makes sure to make each one feel special and loved. Always there at football practices, wrestling matches, birthday parties — yet finds the time to actually sit down and help them with their homework ... I, myself, barely had time for those small yet 'big' sacrifices with four kids of my own. I've seen firsthand and have spoken with April's children, and it is so inspiring in an old-fashioned way that you just don't see nowadays. April is the mama that is raising well-rounded and happy kids who will eventually grow to be "nice" and "well-rounded" adults, that our "future world" would be fortunate to have! Each child is nice mannered and well-fed and dressed.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Her old-fashioned and motherly way of raising her children will benefit our future generations by having well-rounded adults as part of our world.
