Novato Readies For National Night Out
The "38th Annual National Night Out" will be commemorated in neighborhoods throughout the city Aug. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m.
NOVATO, CA — Novato will be among thousands of communities next month participating in a national crime-prevention event.
The "38th Annual National Night Out" will be commemorated in neighborhoods throughout the city Aug. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. Residents are invited to a gathering in front of the Novato Police Department (909 Machin Ave.) to join community members and police during those hours.
“We will be handing out NNO swag and are excited to connect with our community,” the NPD wrote of the event in an announcement on its Facebook page.

Police are also accepting requests to drive by neighborhoods or locations that will be hosting their own block parties or events.
