2 Injured In Stabbing Attack At Oceanside Campground

OCEANSIDE, CA — A woman and a male juvenile were injured in a stabbing attack at a campground in northern San Diego County, authorities said.

A stabbing was reported at 2:15 a.m. Saturday at 1450 N. Pacific Street at the Pacific Harbor Campground in Oceanside, according to the Oceanside Police Department.

Arriving officers found a woman lying on the ground, bleeding from her head, police said in a news release. A male juvenile was also found with a minor stab wound his back and multiple abrasions.

Witnesses provided video of the stabbing attack, which led to the arrests of two suspects, police said. Jose Luis Talavera Galopino, 30, and a Jocelyn Ignacio, 21, were booked into jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
