DogSpot in Oceanside Aims to be North County’s Happiest Place on Dog Earth

Dog and Their Humans Invited to July 20th Grand Opening of DogSpot

The following is a DogSpot Press Release

Dogs small and large are invited to grab their leashes and bring their humans to the Grand Opening of DogSpot Day Care and Training on July 20, 2013 from 11am-3 pm.

DogSpot owner Carlene King promises, “The grand opening will celebrate the importance of dogs in our lives.” Proceeds from the $5 all-you-can-eat taco feast will go to local dog rescues, including Oceanside-based SPOT (www.spotsavespets.org) and  other organizations, which will be at the event to showcase adoptable dogs and talk to people about adoptions. Also on the day’s menu is live music, speed painting (featuring animals, naturally), door prizes, giveaways and tours of the facility, which opens to customers on July 22, 2013.

King says, “In addition to dog care provided in a warm, friendly environment and our on-site amenities, I offer individualized training. I developed an innovative  program called ‘Live and Learn’ to meet a variety of needs. I take the dog home with me and work with it one-on-one, then consult regularly with the owner on how best to handle the dog at its own home. The program has proven successful with many dogs and diverse situations, from people who don’t have the time to train a new acquisition to dogs with separation anxiety, aggression and other issues.”

DogSpot Day Care and Training is open Monday-Friday, 6 am-8 pm and Saturday, 8 am-5 pm. For more information, visit www.dogspot.biz or stop by to discover North County’s tail-waggingly happy new dog care facility in person. Bring your best friend!
