'Magnificent Bastards' to Hold Change of Command Friday
Maj. Robert S. Weiler will take command from Col. William H. Vivian Friday.

The 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment will receive a new commanding officer during a change of command ceremony Friday.
Lieutenant Colonel William H. Vivian will relinquish command of the battalion to Maj. Robert S. Weiler.
Vivian deployed as the commanding officer of 2nd Bn., 4th Marines to Afghanistan from September 2011 to March 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Prior to reporting to 2nd Bn., 4th Marines, Weiler was assigned to 1st Marine Logistics Group where he deployed to Afghanistan twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as an operational planner.
