Man Fatally Shot At North County Gas Station
The shooting happened in the 100 block of Ammunition Road at Main Avenue in Fallbrook, authorities said.

FALLBROOK, CA — A Los Angeles resident was behind bars Monday for allegedly shooting another man to death over the weekend at a gas station near the east side of Camp Pendleton, authorities reported Monday.
Deputies responding to a reported assault shortly after 8:30 p.m. Sunday found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the 100 block of Ammunition Road in Fallbrook, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Aided by witness information, deputies found the suspected shooter, 46- year-old Glenn Wesley Rosales, a short time later and took him into custody.

Paramedics took the wounded man, later identified as Humberto Melecio, 32, to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 90 minutes after the shooting, Lt. Joseph Jarjura said.
Officials released no suspected motive for the deadly gunfire and did not disclose the relationship, if any, between the suspect and victim.

Rosales was being held in county jail in Vista without bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
