Man Robs Chase Bank, Gets Away
There was no chase from Chase, as the man departed before police officers could arrive.

A bank in Oceanside was robbed by a man who used a demand note, a police lieutenant said Sunday.
The suspect, only described as a white man with short cropped hair, passed the note to a teller shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chase Bank at 4147 Oceanside Boulevard, Oceanside police Lt. Ron Hardy said.
Responding police officers arrived shortly after the robbery was reported, but the suspect got away with an unknown amount, Hardy said.
