Earthquake Rattles Riverside, San Diego Counties

The quake was recorded Friday morning. Did you feel it?

ANZA, CA — An earthquake rattled parts of Southern California early Friday.

The magnitude 3.4 quake struck at 6:52 a.m. about 12 miles east-southeast of Anza in Riverside County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake had a depth of about 8 miles.

Residents reported feeling the quake across the Riverside County, including in Aguanga, Cathedral City, Indio, La Quinta and Palm Springs and as far away as northern San Diego County, according to the USGS's "Did You Feel It?" map.
