Military Career Fair Wednesday in Downtown San Diego

The National Apartment Association Education Institute recently made the following announcement: 

Officials from the National Apartment Association Education Institute will kick off the 2013 NAA Education Institute Military Career Fair on Wednesday, June 19, by presenting checks for $12,500 to two San Diego-area military charities, Armed Services YMCA San Diego and REBOOT.

More than 500 veterans, transitioning military and military spouses are expected to take part in the career fair, meeting with apartment industry employers, interviewing for jobs and learning more about jobs as apartment managers, leasing consultants and maintenance technicians. 

Twenty-five apartment industry companies from around the nation also are participating. These companies have job openings in across the United States and hope to fill them with veterans and military spouses. 

NAAEI is donating 100 percent of their exhibitor registration fees to Armed Services YMCA San Diego and REBOOT – both of which help veterans and military families secure job training and placement.
