New Zealand Troops to Train with Marines
The two forces hope to foster camaraderie as they train on the use of a ribbon bridge.

Some 35 New Zealand engineers are training with Camp Pendleton Marines Monday. The event will be the first reciprocal training between New Zealand troops and U.S. Marines in 27 years, according to a base news release.
The forces will train in the use of a ribbon bridge, in addition to fostering military-to-military relations between the two countries, the release added.
Members of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force are deployed to New Zealand as its military members train here.
