Oceanside Woman Alleges Singer Chris Brown Attacked Her
Gines alleges that Brown "aggressively pushed her" to the ground, causing her to tear ligaments in her knee and go to the hospital.

Police are investigating an incident involving a 24-year-old Oceanside woman's claim that R&B singer and entertainer Chris Brown injured her following his performance at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim on Saturday.
TMZ has identified the alleged victim as Deanna Gines, who lives in Oceanside, according to U-T San Diego.
Gines alleges that Brown "aggressively pushed her" to the ground, causing her to tear ligaments in her knee and go to the hospital.
Gines said in a live interview with TMZ that she was having an argument with a girl with whom Brown was holding hands before the alleged incident. Gines said that the girl wasn't happy with where she was standing in relation to Brown.
"He was angry," Gines said in the interview. "That’s why he pushed me."
According to U-T San Diego, Anaheim police sergeant Bob Dunn said the dispatch center received a call at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday claiming that there had been an assault at the club.
"She said she was in the club and a male pushed her," Dunn said. "It caused her to fall and hurt herself."
Dunn told the paper that the caller did not identify herself or her alleged attacker. He said that detectives are in the process of trying to collect statements from eyewitnesses, or surveillance video to see if there is any evidence of what happened. To this point, neither Grines nor Brown has spoken with detectives, according to the newspaper.
Grines told TMZ that she is only looking for an apology from Brown, not for a payday. She has however hired a lawyer and is intending to press charges. When asked why she would not at least want Brown to cover any out of pocket medical expenses that she may incur because of her injuries, Grines said "no comment."
Brown has a history of violence. He was convicted of felony assault in the 2009 beating of his then-girlfriend Rihanna, and was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community labor.
In 2010, a staffer at Good Morning America claims that Brown smashed a window with a chair, however no formal charges were ever filed in that case.
