  1. A new luxury apartment building project received a $100 million construction loan. Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC (BWE), a national mortgage banking company with an office in Irvine, announced the financing is for the proposed five-story, 321-unit luxury apartment building in Stanton, California. The Cloud House project will have studio, one- and two-bedroom units, and will be built by Bonanni Development, "one of Orange County’s top residential developers." The planned building is part of the revitalization of Beach Boulevard in the Stanton neighborhood. (Real Estate Weekly)
  2. If you have a small Businesses in Orange County that was impacted by COVID-19, you can claim a $2,500 Grant. On Monday, Orange County reopened the applications for its micro business grants program. The grants are funded by the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program, and will be "issued until funding is exhausted," county officials said. Way to go, Orange County!   3. The Orange County Business Journal is now accepting entries for Fast Growing Private Companies in Orange County! Fast growing O.C. businesses that make the list will be featured in the Business Journal's annual list of Orange County’s Fastest-Growing Privately Held Companies, scheduled to appear in a September 19 Special Report. The O.C. Business Journal noted that companies must be "owned by an individual, a group of people, families, venture capitalists, private equity firms or other investors" with annual sales that have rapidly grown over the two years from mid-2020 to mid-2022.
