$515 Million Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In SoCal

ANAHEIM, CA — One lucky lottery player is millions of dollars richer after a ticket bought at a 7-Eleven in Orange County won the estimated $515 million Powerball jackpot on Saturday, according to the California Lottery.
The winning numbers were 21, 7, 11, 61 and 53, and the Powerball was 2. The ticket sold at the 7-Eleven located at 763 N. Euclid St. in Anaheim was the only winning ticket.
The winning player can receive the $515 million jackpot in 30 installments or a $243.8 million lump sum payment before federal taxes.

The store will earn the maximum bonus of $1 million for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Saturday’s game was the 29th draw since a Powerball purchase in Oregon yielded a $328.5 million jackpot win on Jan. 8. The jackpot for the next drawing Monday will reset to $20 million.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number are 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.9.
