Apartment Fire Traps Dog In OC, Firefighters Respond: OCFA

A four-legged friend was rescued by Orange County firefighters Wednesday in Garden Grove.

GARDEN GROVE, CA — Orange County firefighters were hard at work after an apartment fire trapped a dog inside a burning building, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

Firefighters were dispatched to the site of the fire in Garden Grove at 3:46 p.m. Wednesday and found flames coming from a second-story apartment unit.

Rushing to action, firefighters quickly contained the fire and saved a furry friend trapped inside of the home.

The fire was contained from spreading to nearby apartments and no injuries were reported, firefighters said.
