
COSTA MESA, CA -- A brush fire erupted Sunday in Orange County. The five-acre fire, which was reported at 11 a.m. at Talbert Regional Park, was contained in 90 minutes, officials said.
About 40 firefighters from the Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and Huntington Beach, as well as, the Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene.
No injuries were reported. But some structures were potentially threatened so fire trucks were dispatched to those neighborhoods in case the fire spread, officials said.
