A car fire Monday morning in Stanton led to a crash involving Orange County Sheriff's Department cruisers, authorities said.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A car fire Monday morning in Stanton led to a crash involving Orange County Sheriff's Department cruisers, authorities said.
Firefighters were dispatched just after 2 a.m. to a reported vehicle fire at a gas station at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
"While at the scene, a second vehicle crashed into Orange County Sheriff's Department vehicles, blocking the fire scene," according to an OCFA statement. "An adult male driver was trapped in this vehicle."

The trapped driver was cut from the wreckage and both drivers were taken to hospitals. Their conditions were not reported.
No one from the OCFA was hurt.
