Disneyland, Alaska Airlines Introduce 'Mickey's Toontown Express" Jet
It's a wrap! The newly bedecked Alaska Airlines plane will fly visitors from Seattle to Orange County with a touch of Disney magic.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Keep your eyes on the skies above Orange County. Alaska Airlines recently revealed a new flagship wrapped with some familiar faces, Mickey Mouse and friends, for a flight from Seattle to Orange County.
The new Boeing 737-800, tail number 565AS, is Alaska Airlines' eighth in collaboration with Disneyland Resort, according to the airline, and has been dubbed "Mickey's Toontown Express." The plane was scheduled for varying routes across the Alaska Airlines' network, according to the Disney Parks Blog. It took its inaugural flight to John Wayne Airport in Orange County.
Guests were bound to visit "The Happiest Place on Earth" at Disneyland Resort. "Mickey's Toontown Express" may also enjoy activity books and snack packs onboard with designs that feature Mickey Mouse and his "pals" while supplies last.

"The plane's exterior artwork is inspired by Mickey's Toontown in Disneyland Park, a whimsical and newly reimagined, animated land where families can explore, play, discover, and unwind together while enjoying interactive experiences, familiar favorites, and the new attraction, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway.
The plane is adorned with images of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, along with their pals Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck, themed after the newly refurbished Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland Park.

The unique design includes Chip' n' Dale on the boarding doors and winglets –it took artists more than 400 hours and 20 days to hand paint the brightly colored aircraft exterior from nose to tail.
Alaska's "Mickey's Toontown Express" joins other Alaska Airline Disneyland Resort-themed planes including the "Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort," which portrays larger-than-life versions of Disney and Pixar "Toy Story" friends Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie at Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure park.

Also, Alaska Airlines features the the space-black "Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort" jet that celebrates Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland park.
