  1. Drinking water from the Pacific Ocean may be coming to O.C. The California Coastal Commission is considering a new desalination plant in Orange County, at Doheny State Beach, but people who like to camp at the beach are opposed the idea. The Pacific Ocean could provide as much as five million gallons a day of drinking water, while currently the district imports about 85 percent of its water. (NBC Southern California)
  2. President Biden is visiting Orange County this week. According to White House officials, the President will talk today about "lowering costs for American families." (Orange County Patch)
  3. Outside dining will now be a lot easier in La Habra and Tustin. The La Habra City Council approved an ordinance making it easier for restaurants to be approved for outdoor dining areas, and the Tustin City Council in September approved to "extend the city’s temporary outdoor dining program until Dec. 31," making it easier for businesses to follow the new regulations. Way to go, La Habra and Tustin! We'll see you dining outside. (Voice of OC)
