Earl Of Sandwich Tests Table Service In Downtown Disney Tuesday
Residents can pull up a chair at the new Earl of Sandwich Tavern as the eatery introduces sit-down dining.
ANAHEIM, CA — Fast-casual table-service restaurant the Earl of Sandwich Tavern opened Tuesday, Feb. 28 in Downtown Disney next to the temporary Earl of Sandwich grab-and-go shop.
The pop-up eatery and tavern operate out of the same building that used to house La Brea Bakery, which closed its doors permanently in January.
The debut of Earl of Sandwich Tavern marks the start of a new table service concept where diners can pull up a chair and enjoy the eatery's signature hot sandwiches, salads and bakery items.

“We are thrilled to be back, serving ‘the World’s Famous Hot Sandwich’ to our loyal fanbase visiting from across the globe,” Robert Earl, CEO of Earl Enterprises, said in a statement “The Downtown Disney District has previously been a home for our restaurant family and we are happy to return, this time introducing Earl of Sandwich Tavern to our devoted customers for a full-service dining experience."
