- The free Anaheim Health Fair over the weekend saw more than 900 patients. The 16th annual Anaheim Health Fair at the Anaheim Convention Center provided free COVID-19 shots, flu shots, and health screenings. People who registered, as well as walk-in patients, were able to access free health services, like seeing a doctor for a health screening, or having a cavity filled by a dentist, thanks to 150 doctors and other healthcare professionals, including pharmacy and optometry students. - If you're thinking of going out for Thanksgiving dinner this year, several restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day in Orange County. You will find everything from Smith & Wollensky and Del Frisco’s Grille to Firehouse Subs and Starbucks. You can find everything from fine dining to something more casual on Thursday, Nov. 24, in Orange County. Some restaurants require reservations, so it may help to plan ahead. - Get ready for "the strongest Santa Ana winds of the season," according to the National Weather Service. Powerful winds are expected to push through Southern California and Orange County on "Tuesday, Nov. 15 through Thursday" and will likely be strongest on Wednesday. Winds are excepted between 33-55 m.p.h., with stronger gusts possible in some areas. (OC Register)
