- Home owners heard a loud crash at about 2:14 a.m. Sunday morning. They discovered that a white BMW had crashed into their home, damaging the two cars parked in the garage. The driver was arrested when police arrived at the 200 block of South Lincoln Street, near East Almond Avenue. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. (County News Service)
- It was a busy weekend in Orange County for single-car crashes. A driver fled from a vehicle Saturday after it ended up in a ditch and then caught fire. When Orange County Fire Authorities were called at about 2:30 a.m. to East Warner Avenue and South Halladay Street, they found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The driver was not injured. - An Orange County Cancer survivor said that the game of golf saved his life. The Orange County man battling cancer credits the game he loves, and a doctor he golfs with, for saving his life. Kirk Rose, who rarely misses a shot and has been playing golf his whole life, changed roles from golf buddies to patient and doctor with oncologist Dr. Minch Fong, after a cancer diagnosis. "I felt fine, I felt great and then we got that diagnosis and it was devastating," Rose said. Through treatments since 2018, Rose continues to play and credits golf, and his long-time golf buddy, for saving his life. (NBC Southern California)
