At Least 4 Killed In OC Crash: Police

A speeding vehicle struck a tree in Santa Ana, according to police.

SANTA ANA, CA — At least four people died in an overnight crash in Santa Ana, according to police.

The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the area of Sergerstrom Avenue and Griset Place, police said. A vehicle speeding west on Sergerstrom Avenue struck a tree, killing four and sending two to the hospital, according to police.

Of those who survived the immediate aftermath, one person was in critical condition and one person was in stable condition, police said Sunday morning.
