Man Drowns In Orange County Lake: Police
Swimming at the lake is prohibited as a matter of safety, police said.
FULLERTON, CA — A man drowned Saturday at Laguna Lake in Fullerton, according to police.
Fire and police personnel responded just before 7 p.m. to the lake and were notified the man had attempted to swim across the body of water and was not seen again, police said.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department Underwater Search and Recovery Team found the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Foul play is not suspected, police said, and the victim’s identity was pending release by the Orange County Coroner’s Office.
