Minivan Strikes Bicyclist; Hit-And-Run Suspect At Large: Police

Authorities sought the public's help this week in identifying a minivan suspected of felony hit-and-run.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Huntington Beach Police officers sought the public's help this week in identifying a vehicle involved in a felony hit-and-run crash that happened on Saturday, March 29.

The crash occurred at 11 p.m. near Arnett Drive and Irby Lane in Huntington Beach, authorities said.

Upon arriving, officers found a bicyclist with "significant injuries" sustained from the crash and no sign of the suspect's vehicle.

The minivan was described as metallic gray, silver or blue — possibly a Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey, police said, with a license plate possibly contained the characters: 7, T, A and E (not in order).

The minivan is expected to have front-end damage to the bumper, hood and windshield, and the suspect was described as a Hispanic male between 20 to 30 years old.
