Missing OC Man Reunited With Family After He Was Located In Tijuana
A 75-year-old Orange County man who went missing on Wednesday was located safely in Mexico.

IRVINE, CA — A 75-year-old Irvine man who went missing on Wednesday was found in Tijuana, police said Friday. Authorities said he may be in the early stages of dementia.
Eugene Davila was spotted by employees at a cafe in Tijuana, where he seemed "disoriented but uninjured and in good condition," according to the Irvine Police Department.
Employees offered assistance by charging his cell phone and calling his wife in Irvine, police said. His family immediately began facilitating a plan for his return.

Irvine police coordinated with Homeland Security Investigations to get Davila back to the border. Irvine detectives then met Davila at the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol to drive him home to be reunited with his family.
