OC Man, 81, Goes Missing From Convalescent Home
According to police, this is the second time in one week that the man has went missing from his convalescent home in Garden Grove.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Garden Grove police Monday issued a Silver Alert asking the public for help locating an 81-year-old man who walked away from a convalescent home for the second time in a week.
Nguyen Van Nguyen was last seen at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday leaving the convalescent home in the 13500 block of Dawson Street where he lives, according to Garden Grove police Sgt. Thi Huynh. He was reported missing at 6:45 p.m.
He previously went missing Thursday and was located Friday, Huynh said.

Nguyen is Asian, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 120 pounds, bald, with no facial hair, and brown eyes, wearing a light blue sweatshirt and gray sweatpants and using a walker.
"Nguyen is considered at-risk and is in need of medication," Huynh said.

A Silver Alert is activated when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person is missing and determined to be at risk.
