BUENA PARK, CA — Beloved fast food chicken spot Chick-fil-A will open a new location in Buena Park Thursday, and opening day will come with a philanthropic twist.

The chain will surprise 100 local Buena Park heroes with free Chick-fil-A for a year to commemorate its opening at 5960 Orangethorpe Ave. The store will also donate $25,000 to Feeding America, money that will be distributed to partners in the greater Anaheim area, according to a Chick-fil-A representative.

"I am looking forward to continuing to serve the community of Buena Park,” local franchise owner Steve Hollins said in a statement. “The opportunity to impact Team Members and guests with another location is truly the driving passion behind wanting to be a multi-unit Operator, and Chick-fil-A 91 & Orangethorpe only strengthens our opportunity to give back in a bigger way.”
