Pixar Place Hotel Debuts At Disneyland: Peek Inside & See What's New
The former Paradise Pier Hotel has reopened as Pixar Place in a reimagined destination filled with nods to favored features and short films.

ANAHEIM, CA —Pixar Place, a property at Disneyland Resort, fully reopened Tuesday after almost a year of being redesigned from its former likeness "Paradise Pier."
The stand-alone hotel, which offers views of Disney California Adventure and the famed World of Color water show, is located at 1717 South Disneyland Drive in Anaheim.
"This is the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States!" a resort spokesperson said. The 479-room hotel is filled with nods to beloved films from "Toy Story," "Up!," "Ratatouille," "Inside Out," and every Pixar feature film to date. "At Pixar Place Hotel, you'll see so many familiar Pixar friends brought to life in a whole new way through various styles of playful artwork, contemporary decor, and even surprise visits by characters," they said.

The lobby and recreation areas were blended with the Pixar imagery in 2023, including the Pixar Shorts Court, where you can play games inspired by Pixar short films.

The pool, brightly colored umbrellas, and Crush bedecking the slide all give a nod to the full immersion into the world of Pixar.
Inside, the fully revamped interior includes rooms and entertainment areas that are finally ready for the public.
What are some of the best Pixar touches at the Pixar Place Hotel?
The Pixar Ball and Lamp welcome guests in the front lobby with a mobile dripping from the skylight ceiling. On each of the 15 floors, spot murals and nods to Pixar films in every hallway.
If you want to dine in style, head to Great Maple, an eatery for breakfast, lunch, and dinner designed with original Pixar characters.

Another dining option is the Sketch Pad Cafe, serving grab-n-go pastry items and a full espresso bar.
Inside the guest rooms, concept art from some of your favorite films top the headboards, and look for Pixar touches all around.

The Pixar lamp is on every desk, and even the bathrooms have touches from the films.
The walls of the fitness center are wrapped with a mural of Mike and Sulley from "Monsters University" on treadmills welcoming guests who want to stay fit. And, for hotel guests who love to shop, the STOR-E retail shop offers more unique art, Pixar apparel and toys, and Disneyland Resort souvenirs and sundries. Disneyland Resort first took over the hotel property in 2000, theming it with the Disney California Adventure "old cartoon" flair with Donald and Goofy prominently displayed along with a beach theme. Now, the Pixar focus draws from the multiple movies and beloved characters.
