Weekend Rail Service Resumes In San Clemente, South Orange County
OC Transportation Authority officials announced Monday that enough work has been completed on the train tracks to allow for weekend service.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Orange County Transportation Officials said Monday that work has been completed on train tracks in San Clemente, which will allow for weekend train service to return Feb. 4.
The service from Irvine and Oceanside was suspended Sept. 30 when transportation officials noticed movement of the tracks and the hillside through San Clemente.
"Even with the recent heavy rain and high tides, our approach to this project has proven effective in keeping the track from moving and we're pleased to announce that passenger service can safely resume on weekends," OCTA Chairman Gene Hernandez said.
