12,000+ Without Power In San Mateo County: PG&E
PG&E crews contended with dozens of unplanned outages Tuesday in San Mateo County, and more wind and rain is in the forecast.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Thousands of customers were without power in San Mateo County Tuesday afternoon as multiple weather advisories remained in effect across much of the Peninsula.
As of 3 p.m., PG&E said more than 12,100 customers were without power due to 71 unplanned outages in San Mateo County, including 5,100 in Daly City and 3,100 in Pacifica.
A wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect until 11 p.m. Tuesday, with forecasters expecting sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 70 mph in some places. Excessive rainfall in the forecast prompted the weather service to issue a flood advisory through Tuesday afternoon, and a broader flood watch will remain active until Wednesday morning.
