2 Rescued From Coastal Peninsula Cave
Both people were rescued by a rescue swimmer with the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Cal Fire said.
HALF MOON BAY, CA — Two people were rescued Thursday night from a cave they were
trapped in near The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Half Moon Bay, Cal Fire officials said.
The rescue was underway at 9:51 p.m. for the two people trapped by a high tide near the hotel at 1 Miramontes Point Road. Cal Fire officials said both people were rescued by a rescue swimmer with the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
There were no reports of any injuries.
