Alleged Drunk Driver Dragged Street Sign For Mile In Pacifica: Police
Police allege the woman hopped a median, hit a street sign and dragged it for a mile before coming to a stop in the middle of the road.

PACIFICA, CA — A San Francisco woman is accused of driving under the influence after Pacifica authorities allege she hit a street sign and dragged it down the street before hitting another vehicle.
According to police, officers found a car stopped in the street with a pole-mounted sign stuck underneath near Alisal Court and Timberhill Drive shortly after midnight Saturday.
Investigators allege the 26-year-old driver was drunk when she drove over a raised center median, knocked over a sign on Hickey Boulevard and dragged it approximately a mile before coming to a stop. Police also determined the driver struck a parked car while dragging the sign.

The driver was placed under arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and hit-and-run.
