Best Trick-or-Treat Neighborhoods in Pacifica

Pacifica neighborhoods come alive the month of October as many dress up their homes with festive fall baubles, pumpkins and spooky Halloween decorations.

With this in mind, Pacifica Patch asked readers to name the best trick-or-treat streets in town. Here's what they have to say:

Alicante and Linda Mar Boulevard

Maria Lunardi recommends this neighborhood because "Lisa Moore's hubby makes an awesome haunted house/pirate ship, a special surprise every year."

"Yep, come check it out Alicante," writes in Lisa Moore.

Nancy Bagdon also likes Alicante at Linda Mar all the way down through Madeira because there's "lots of people, most of the houses are decorated, and it's nice and flat for us hill dwellers."

Alyssa S. says they take the trek from Banyan down Alicante to stop at fun, decorated homes. Then to Linda Mar and Alicante to stop at spooky homes to see the Moore's pirate ship, hitting up that neighborhood. "The kids have a blast and score some great treats. So much activity and decor, my wee ones are actually tired after. That route is filled with friendly homes."    

Vallemar

Carol Camacho hears that Vallemar is great and both Joe Ghione and Mary Ellen Forrest recommend the Vallemar neighborhood as well, liking Juanita Street in particular.

Pacifica Baptist Church       

Stephen Cosgrove suggests trick or treating at the Pacifica Baptist Church, a free event with hot dogs starting at 5 p.m. with Halloween kid actiivties and a Garden of Eden theme.

Farallon Avenue 

Edward Sawacki is impartial to Farallon Avenue above Manor. "We always have our house decked out in spooky decorations."

Ocean Shore School neighborhood

Heather Tanner says the neighborhood right around Ocean Shore School is great. "A lot of the houses take decorating over the top."
