Car Plows Into Front Of SMC Building, Killing Driver: Police
A 78-year-old woman died after she drove her car through a building.
SAN BRUNO, CA — A 78-year-old woman died after she crashed her car into a building Wednesday in San Bruno, police said.
At 10:40 a.m. on Wednesday, San Bruno Police Department officers said they responded to the 100 block of El Camino Real after receiving a call about a car plowing into the front of a building.
The driver, a 78-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

"Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the driver during this difficult time," police said
At this time, police do not believe drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.
