Charged Felon Leads Cops on Car Chase

The Pacifica Police went in pursuit of the Pacifica resident all the way to San Francisco.

A Pacifica resident led Pacifica Police on a car chase from Pacifica to San Francisco before the police eventually located him.

On Sunday at 11 p.m., an officer saw a black Dodge Charger in the 200 block of Manor Drive in Pacifica. The officer recognized the driver, Marvin Araquistain, 34, of Pacifica, who had a suspended driver’s license.

The officer then initiated a traffic stop on the driver, but Araquistain refused to stop. Araquistain then fled Pacifica through Daly City and into San Francisco with the police on his trail. The man eluded officers for a short period before officers located his unoccupied vehicle on the 800 block of Sargent Street in San Francisco.
